Addison McArthur had a heart transplant when she was just 3 weeks old.
It was an incredible gift – but it is not a cure.
She is now 8 years old and doing everything most 8 year olds do… except Addison also has to take anti-rejection drugs twice a day that are extremely toxic and come with serious side effects… deadly infections, kidney failure, diabetes, cancer. A transplant is not a cure. Addison’s family and friends are dedicated to finding a cure through pediatric transplant research.
All the proceeds from these $5 chocolate bars go directly to support pediatric transplant research through The Addison Fund at The Transplant Research Foundation of BC. Come in to Geo Cider Co and pick up a chocolate for yourself… or as a gift!
